This past spring, Cliff Eldridge placed his Scottsdale, Arizona home on the market. Six months went by with Cliff unable to find any takers. It quickly became clear to Cliff that in a down market, the traditional way of selling a house wouldn't get the job done. So, Cliff turned to an increasingly popular option amongst sellers -- house swapping.
