(NECN) - Ocean Spray Cranberries in Lakeville-Middleboro, Massachusetts said that a patent the company recently won could hold a potential treatment for breast cancer.

This patent is for a method for extracting oil from the tiny seeds found in cranberries. According to the patent, the oil can be used for treating or reducing the occurrence of breast cancer.
