(John Moroney, NECN: Boston, Mass.) - The Boston Herald is preparing to lay off 130-160 workers as the newspaper outsources its printing.
The Herald's owner says the company is shifting printing work outside the company because most of its presses are 50-years-old and in poor condition.
All of the workers being laid off are unionized print-shop employees.
NECN's John Moroney has details.
