| April 7, 2008 Couple sues Google over 'Street View'

(NECN/ABC) - A new feature on Google called "Street View," launched in May of 2007, allows Web users to take a ride without leaving their computers. It shows panoramic views of streets and neighborhoods, but at what cost?
Attorney Dennis Moskal is representing Aaron Boring, a computer programmer, and Christine Boring, a school teacher. This Franklin Park, Pennsylvania couple was outraged when they learned pictures of their home were on the site. They're suing Google, claiming the search engine site invades their privacy, saying their neighborhood has a sign marked "private road."
A spokesperson for Google has said those concerned with pictures can ask to have the photos removed from the Web and that the lawsuit has no merit.
Reporter Tara Edwards of WTAE has the story.
