(NECN) - The New York company that supplied epoxy that failed in the Big Dig tunnel ceiling is reportedly the focus of a Federal Grand Jury investigation.
Lawyers tell the Boston Globe that federal prosecutors are trying to determine whether Powers fasteners or its executives should face federal criminal charges.
Last summer, the company was indicted on a charge of involuntary manslaughter by a Massachusetts grand jury.
Milena Del Valle of Jamaica Plain was killed in the July 2006 accident.
