(NECN) - The growing mortgage crisis is forcing people to put their homes up for bid, while others are still looking to help avoid foreclosure.
Thousands have lost their homes in the current housing crisis. Thousands are also making their dreams reality by scooping up homes at auction prices.
At the same time homes were being auctioned off, Boston Mayor Tom Menino held a foreclosure seminar to help homeowners avoid losing their properties. Senator John Kerry was also in attendance at the event.
