September 5, 2008 Low-cost Florida bound flights coming soon to Worcester Play video

(Latoyia Edwards, NECN) - People flying to Florida will soon have a new option.

Starting this fall, Direct Air will start offering flights to southwest Florida from Worcester Regional Airport.

Three direct flights per week will be offered to and from both the Orlando Area and Punta Gorda, Florida beginning November, 22nd.

For those looking to attend Red Sox Spring Training games without the high cost of travel, this is an option.
