(NECN) - The Massachusetts Turnpike Authority is no longer an independent authority with its own pile of revenue and ample resources for future needs.
The latest blow is a warning that a recent round of toll hikes is just one of many that will be required for the turnpike to meet basic maintenance requirements.
Mary Connaughton, a member of the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority board, joins NECN's Jim Braude.
