(NECN) - As the Dow Jones plummeted on Monday, concerned investors poured their money into oil.
Prices skyrocketed, jumping $16 a barrel to settle nearly $121 a barrel.
Crude has jumped $30 in four days and is expected to keep climbing.
But drivers likely won't see a major increase at the pump right away.
Massachusetts actually has some of the cheapest gas in the country.
The average price for self-server regular is now $3.55 a gallon, about 18 cents below the national average.
