(NECN) - The face of the Massachusetts workforce is changing. The number of older workers is on the rise, while the number of younger workers is expected to drop.
By the year 2010, almost 40% of the Commonwealth's population will be 50 or older. A new study finds those workers will be essential to the state's economic vitality.
Deborah Banda is Massachusetts State Director of the AARP, the group that co-authored the report. She joins NECN's Karen Meyers.
