(NECN) - After the holiday weekend, the Blue Chips rallied and then lost ground. The Dow Jones Industrial Average sunk 56 points to close at 11,231. The Nasdaq Composite fell two points to 2243. The S&P 500 lost ten to finish at 1252. Regionally, Bloomberg's New England Index dropped about three and a quarter points. The New England tech Stock Index slipped one and a quarter.
