| November 1, 2009 NH officials advise of beef recall

(NECN) - Health officials in New Hampshire say one person has died and two others got sick after eating ground beef possibly contaminated with E.coli.
They say the contaminated meat is related to the recall of almost 546,000 pounds of ground beef in Connecticut, Maine and Massachusetts.
There are reports of illness, but no deaths in those states.
The meat was sold by Fairbank Farms in Ashville, N.Y. at Trader Joe's, BJ's, Wild Harvest, Shaw's and Price Chopper.
Each package carried the number "EST. 492" inside the USDA inspection mark or on the nutrition label.
