(Kristen Caira, NECN: Newton, MA) - About 40,000 people braved the rain in Boston on Sunday afternoon for the 40th annual Walk for Hunger.
Organizers say this year's event is crucial for local soup kitchens and shelters, struggling with the rising cost of food.
