(Brad Puffer, NECN) - Doctors are concerned about a recent spike in skin cancer among women. This new federal study should serve as yet another warning about the dangers of sun exposure. Cases of melanoma the most deadly form of skin cancer have risen almost 50 percent in young women since 1980. Increased sun exposure as well as tanning salons are on the increase especially among young women, however it is too early to tell if they are to blame. NECN's Brad Puffer reports.
