(Ally Donnelly, NECN) - When you think of getting fit, you probably think about going to the gym or taking some time to exercise outside after work. But imagine if you could hit two birds with one stone, and exercise while you're on the job.
This law firm is a far cry from the mahogany and gold of traditional law firms. Instead of a desk, Sarah Reed has a treadmill and a stand fashioned for her computer and accessories. As she fields calls and e-mails, she walks, usually about 4 or 5 miles by quitting time.
Experts saying incorporating health and wellness into the workplace isn't just about having fun. They say it is essential to combat rising obesity rates which are reaching epidemic levels in the U.S.
