(NECN: Franklin, Mass.) - Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick this morning attended the grand opening of Tegra Medical. Tegra is a medical device firm that is opening an expanded facility in Franklin after the consolidation of two facilities previously located in Holliston, Massachusetts, and Cranton, Rhode Island. Today is also the one-year anniversary of the signing of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Act. "We have created nearly 1,000 jobs -- off to a very good start," said the Governor. "We're working on reducing the cost of business," said the Governor. "We are investing in our growth." NECN reporter Prat Thakkar caught up with the Governor.
