November 20, 2008 Train derails, catches fire in Memphis Play video

(NECN) - A freight train derailed in South Memphis on Thursday morning, rolling over four cargo cars on their sides. No injuries have been reported in association with this accident.

Memphis Fire Department and HAZMAT crews were on scene, trying to detect and potential hazards.

The derailment occurred before 11am, east of Interstate 55.

Initial reports said that two of the overturned freight cars caught on fire.
