July 5, 2009 Serial killer has gun shops selling out in SC Play video

(NECN/WLOS) - With the suspect still on the run, fearful residents are taking matters into their own hands.

A few chose to cancel 4th of July plans and stay home, others chose to arm themselves.

Gun shops are selling out of weapons and ammunition.

Store owners say the rush started on Thursday and don't expect it to slow down until the suspect is behind bars.
