July 9, 2009 Fire burns through roof of suspected indoor pot farm in downtown LA Play video

(NECN/ABC) - Firefighters were busy Thursday morning battling a fire in a downtown Los Angeles building. The fire broke out just after 6:30AM and about 75 firefighters were on scene to fight the blaze.

The fire burned through the roof of the building causing it to collapse. It took about 40 minutes for the fire to be put out. Reports indicate the building was being used as an indoor marijuana farm but that is still under investigation. It's not yet known how the fire started. Nobody was hurt.
