(NECN) - Forget the running of the bulls. How about the running of the Papas.

A band of bearded men hit the streets in Florida in honor of legendary author Ernest Hemingway.

These guys in the red berets, took part in a weekend long celebration.

Hemingway was born in Key West on this day, 109 years ago.

In addition to the running of the papas, they also had a Hemingway look a like competition.
