(NECN: Phoenix, AZ) - A brush fire broke out Wednesday night on the Gila River Reservation, west of Phoenix, shooting huge plumes of smoke into the sky.
Fire crews are having a tough time accessing the Ethan Fire due to the remote area that the fire started in. Dry timber is providing plenty of fuel for the
flames.
Initial reports are that lightning is the cause of the blaze.
Aerial units have been called in to assess the situation.
