| August 13, 2008 Caylee Anthony's grandfather says kidnappers 'being watched'
|
(NECN/WFTV) - Where is missing toddler Caylee Anthony? It has been nearly a month since the now three-year-old was reported missing. Her grandfather, George Anthony, says she was kidnapped and the people that have her are being watched.
George says he's meeting with "people assisting outside the normal scope of things" and he seems to suggest that these people are doing surveillance on kidnappers, who he believes have his granddaughter.
After a brief conversation with WFTV, George hit the road with the billboard in tow. He says he plans on going to Sanford, and possibly to Daytona, if time allows.
Meanwhile, an appeals court has refused to lower the
bail for the mother of a missing central Florida girl.
The 5th District Court of Appeal on Monday denied Casey
Anthony's motion for a rehearing. The motion was sealed.
Anthony is being held on $500,000 bail on charges of child
neglect, making false statements and obstructing an investigation.
Police say she lied to them and didn't report her daughter, Caylee,
missing for more than a month.
