(NECN: Los Angeles) - Over 100 firefighters are battling a huge fire in the Garment District of downtown Los Angeles.
Fire officials say no one was living in the building, and the fire did not spread to any other structures nearby.
The fire at the 2-story commercial building broke out shortly after 5 a.m.
The fire is only a half a mile away from the Staples Center, home of the L.A. Lakers.
