| July 6, 2008 Fires still roaring in California

(NECN/ABC) - Firefighters are going hard to extinguish two big stubborn wilfires among hundreds more in California.
The fires have destroyed more than 800 square miles of trees and brush since they first flared up over two weeks ago.
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger says that 400 National Guard members will relieve 300 firefighters who are exhausted from fighting these fires.
Schwarzenegger even goes as far to say that nothing went right during the Hurricane Katrina disaster, while everything is going right during these California wildfires.
ABC's John Hendren reports.
