(NECN) - More on Hurricane Ike which the National Hurricane Center says is an "extremely dangerous" storm.
Ike is slamming into the Turks and Caicos on Sunday as a fierce Category 4 hurricane.
Ike could hit the Gulf Coast by Tuesday and residents of the Florida Keys are already evacuating.
ABC News reporter Constance Jones has more on how some islanders have chosen to wait it out.
