(NECN: Charleston, SC) - Communities all along the East Coast are getting ready for Tropical Storm Hanna. Storm watches and warnings are in effect from South Carolina to New York City. At the moment, the storm is about 400 miles south of the Carolinas.
"We are going to bring a little sunshine on a cloudy day. We are ready for this storm," said North Charleston Mayor Keith Summey.
"We are prepared for after the storm. If you do have reports of downed trees or power outages, please call: 554-5700," said Mayor Summey.
"The services that you need will be provided by your local governments," said Mayor Summey.
