(NECN: Houston, TX) - Authorities have been called to the collapse of an old church near downtown Houston. It happened at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church.
The church is believed to have been under renovations.
At this point, there are no reports of any injuries. Authorities are there to determine if anyone was inside the building at the time of the collapse.
There are a lot of bricks on the side of the old church. Part of the roof has collapsed as well.
The cause of the collapse is not known at this time.
