(NECN/ABC) - The family of 6-year-old Cole Puffinburger is holding out hope that authorities will find him alive.
Friday night they canvassed Las Vegas, Nevada neighborhoods passing out flyers with his picture on them.
Puffinburger was kidnapped Wednesday from a Las Vegas home by three men posing as police officers.
Authorities believe the kidnapping was a message to the boy's grandfather, Clemons Tinnemeyer, who is accused of stealing millions from Mexican drug dealers.
Saturday, Captain Vincent Cannito with the Las Vegas Metro Police said they have three 'people of interest' in the case.
The boy's grandfather and an unidentified man are in custody.
A third man, Mexican national Jesus Gastelum, is currently wanted for questioning.
