(NECN: Baltimore, MD) - Firefighters battled an apartment building fire in southwest Baltimore, Maryland Wednesday morning.
Thick flames and heavy smoke were seen coming from the building.
Several people have been rescued. At least one was injured and was taken to the local hospital.
The cause of the fire is unclear at this point.
