| November 18, 2008 Fire forces 20 NH students from dorm

PLYMOUTH, N.H. (AP) - An early morning fire in a bathroom trash
can forced about 20 New Hampshire college students out of their
dormitory and into the cold.
The fire was reported around 3 a.m. on Tuesday at the Grafton
Residence Hall at Plymouth State University. Fire fighters found
heavy smoke on the third floor coming from a trash can fire in the
women's bathroom. The +crew easily extinguished the fire and the
bathroom was not damaged.
The students were moved to a nearby dormitory and were allowed
to return to the building at 4:15 a.m.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
