| November 24, 2008 Manhole explosions in theater district of downtown Boston

(NECN: Latoyia Edwards, Boston, MA) - The Boston Fire Department has now confirmed that four manholes exploded in the theater district.
The four manholes were in the downtown area on Tremont St.
They are reporting of significant power outages in the entire theater district area all the way to Berkeley Street.
The Marriott Courtyard at 275 Tremont Street has been evacuated.
The MBTA is reporting that both the Arlington and Copley station "outbound" stations are currently without power and closed.
