(NECN: Latoyia Edwards, Worcester, MA) - Police have arrested and charged a 16-year old mother, following the death of her 1-year old son in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Police say she's expected to be arraigned in court Tuesday morning.

Emergency workers responded to a house on Henderson Ave, when they found the child suffering from an apparent respiratory and cardiac arrest sunday morning.

The child later died at the hospital.
