(NECN: Latoyia Edwards, Worcester, Mass.) - A 16-year-old Worcester, Massachusetts girl is being held without bail, charged with the murder of her son. Nga Thi Truong is accused of suffocating her baby boy with a teddy bear because she was frustrated he was ill.
Police were called to the home on Sunday and found the baby unresponsive.
Police arrested the young mother last night, but her boyfriend says police have it all wrong. Police say the teen first told them she found the child unresponsive, but later confessed to suffocating him. Her boyfriend, 17-year-old Edwin Vasquez, who is not the baby's father, says the boy had been very ill.

Truong's lawyer says his client maintains her innocence and that MCI Framingham is a state prison, not a place for a frightened, young girl.
