(John Moroney, NECN: Boston, MA) - There is good news in the search for a nine-year-old boy, who was apparently abducted in the Mattapan section of Boston. It was first reported as an armed robbery, but now that boy has been found safe and sound.
Police did not immediately have information on where David Encarnacion was located or the circumstances. No one has been arrested.
Earlier, a man told police he was walking on River Street with the boy when the gunmen approached him and fled with the boy in a vehicle Wednesday afternoon.
Material from the Associated Press is included in this report.
