(NECN) - Eight people were hurt when part of a ceiling collapsed at a bar in South Boston.
Firefighters tell the Boston Globe two 10-by-10-foot wooden panels fell from the ceiling just before 10 last night at the Franklin - Southie on Dorchester Avenue.
Some patrons complained of head, neck, and shoulder injuries.
Investigators say the accident appears to be installation related.
The bar and restaurant opened in November.
