(NECN: Northbridge, Mass.) - Police in Northbridge, Massachusetts, plan to file criminal charges against a school bus driver who allegedly left a three-year-old boy on a bus in a parking lot for six hours. The driver dropped off five other students at two schools before parking the bus in a lot without checking to see if it was empty. Officials tell The Boston Globe the driver discovered the boy when he returned to the bus that afternoon. The child, who is almost four, was released to the care of a baby sitter. The driver and a bus monitor who was also on the bus were fired by the bus company, Vendetti Bus Co.
