(NECN/WMUR: Epping, N.H.) - A graduation party in Epping, New Hampshire ended with the arrest of the new grad's father.
Neighbors called police just before 1 a.m. on Sunday to report gunshots.
Bruce Richards began firing shots in his front yard during his daughter's party, police said.
When officers arrived at the scene, police said Richards threatened to shoot at them. So the S.W.A.T. team was called in.
Kim Richards said her father was drunk and she believes police overreacted and ruined her celebration.
Police said they removed two guns from the property, including a rifle. They stand by their actions.
It was the second time police were called to the party. The first time, officer's arrested Richards' uncle.
