(NECN: Ally Donnelly, Natick, Mass.) - It was a miracle no one was badly hurt when a car crashed into a store in Natick, Massachusetts.
Police say the 83-year-old driver made no attempt to stop, jumping a concrete curb and crashing through a plate glass window at a liquor store on Main Street.
51-year-old Debbie Blankhorn works as a cashier at the store. She says that she was pinned beneath bottles of alcohol when the car came crashing through the window. She suffered only minor injuries.
Firefighters say the driver was conscious and alert, but didn't seem to understand what had happened.
Blankhorn says the driver is a longtime customer. She says that given her age, she should not have been behind the wheel.
