A woman is recovering after being hit by a car in Lowell, Massachusetts.
Officials confirm the 48 year old suffered non-life-threatening injuries when she was struck Tuesday afternoon at the corner of Wood Street and Middlesex Street near the Rourke Bridge over Merrimack River.
The victim was transported to Lowell General Hospital.
The driver stopped at the scene of the crash, which has since been cleared by firefighters.
