November 2, 2009 Jennifer Ward sentenced 15-17 years for shaking her baby to death

(NECN) - A spokesperson for the Essex DA has confirmed to NECN that Jennifer Ward has been sentenced 15-17 years in prison for shaking her baby to death.

39-year-old Jennifer Ward was arrested in December 2007 after being indicted by a Grand Jury for the death of her three-month old daughter.

Authorities ruled that a skull fracture resulted in the baby's death.
