November 7, 2009 Fallen Marine laid to rest on Cape Play video

(NECN: Tom Langford, Falmouth, MA) - On Saturday, a fallen Marine returns to his final resting place.

Captain Eric Jones died in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan on October 26th.

It was the same crash that killed Massachusetts resident, Captain Kyle Van De Giesen.

He was part of Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 169.

The 29-year-old Jones grew up in Pound Ridge, N.Y., but spent his summers on the Cape.

Captain Jones was a 2004 graduate of Northeastern University.
