(NECN) - It was a big welcome home for the 972nd Military Police Unit of the National Guard, which is out of Massachusetts.
The 972nd is made up of 180 soldiers, and reunited with family and friends on Sunday at a ceremony at Fanueil Hall.
The company had been providing security in Baghdad.
Massachusetts Senator John Kerry addressed the servicemen and women, thanking them for their service.
