(NECN: Vermont) - Janet Bennett, the stepmother of Brooke Bennett, speaks out exclusively to NECN's Anya Huneke about the death of her 12-year-old stepdaughter.

"It still feels like I'm dreaming...feels like I just haven't woken up yet and when I wake up it's gonna be the weekend and she's gonna be coming," said Janet Bennett."

Janet is seen in this video clip with Brooke's father, Jim Bennett.

Michael Jacques, Brooke's uncle, has been charged with kidnapping 12-year-old Brooke, who was found dead July 2nd.
