BOSTON (AP) - A Boston firefighter arrested after allegedly
smoking marijuana in a city vehicle is being held in jail after a
judge revoked his bail in a separate assault case.
Anthony Gaston pleaded not guilty Monday to two counts of drug
possession charges. The Dorchester District judge then revoked his
bail for the domestic assault case.
Police arrested Gaston on Friday after they allegedly found the
26-year department veteran with marijuana and drugs for which he
had no prescription.
The fire prevention inspector was placed on administrative leave
with pay.
Gaston will return to court on March 27.
