(Latoyia Edwards, NECN: East Bridgewater, Mass.) - A Massachusetts man will go before a judge today, after police found more than a dozen explosive devices inside his East Bridgewater home. Police found the explosives Thursday night after getting a search warrant on the basis of a tip.
The discovery led to the evacuation of homes nearby. Authorities alerted neighbors by using reverse 911 calls, saying the explosives were being safely removed from the house and were to be detonated at a location nearby.
The Bomb Squad reportedly used robots to remove and detonate over a dozen explosives from the 188 East Street home. 41-year-old Michael Ambrose will be arraigned on multiple counts of possessing homemade bombs.
No injuries have been reported.
