July 26, 2008 Family member suspected of killing, burying Warren couple Play video

(Lauren Collins, NECN: Warren, RI) - The bodies of a Warren couple missing since July 15th have been found in their own backyard.

60-year-old James Soares and his 53-year-old wife Marian had been missing since the 15th when they did not show to a family renunion.

After searching the property, Warren police found their bodies in the septic tank on Saturday morning.

The state's attorney general said they are questioning a family member in custody, but are not releasing the identity.
