(NECN: Lauren Collins, Manchester, NH) - Five people, including an infant and a toddler, are safe thanks to the quick action of Manchester, New Hampshire firefighters. A blaze broke out Friday morning in a triple-decker on Auburn Street, trapping people inside.
The 911 calls started flooding in right before 9:00 and by the time firefighters arrived, people were already attempting to rescue those trapped inside.
There are conflicting reports as to how these rescues happened, but we do know that an off-duty firefighter ran into help when he came across the scene.
NECN is told that an infant was passed out a window to safety.
The extent of injuries is not known at this time.
