| April 11, 2008 Fire victims rescued from 6th floor balconies

(John Moroney, NECN: Framingham, Mass.) - 2 residents and a firefighter are being treated for smoke inhalation after a firefighter at an apartment building in Framingham, Massachusetts Friday afternoon.
Firefighters had to rescue two residents trapped on the sixth floor balconies. The two weren't able to escape through the smoke-filled hallways.
There are 72 apartments in the multi-story building which is part of the Jefferson Village apartment complex. The building is located at 14 Temple Street.
The Red Cross was on the scene as residents were evacuated to a nearby fitness center.
