(NECN: Boston, Mass.) - A Green Line MBTA trolley derailed and caught fire early Wednesday morning in Boston's Brighton neighborhood.
MBTA officials say the trolley jumped the tracks near the intersection of Commonwealth Ave. and Chestnut Hill Ave., catching fire after striking a utility pole.
There were 30 people on the train at the time of the incident and all were evacuated safely according to MBTA spokeswoman Lydia Rivera.
MBTA says shuttle buses would run between Boston College and Babcock Street.
