| July 23, 2008 Human remains found in Fitchburg, MA
|
FITCHBURG, Mass. (AP) - Authorities have identified human
remains discovered in a wooded area of Fitchburg as those of Sharon
Norris who went missing nearly two years ago.
Worcester District Attorney Joseph Early Jr. said Tuesday that
investigators used dental records to identify the remains found
Friday in the rear of the 600 block of Water Street.
Two children playing in the area stumbled upon the skeletal
remains.
Norris, who also known as Sharon Kuykendall, was last seen alive
in August of 2006.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is working to determine
the cause and manner of her death.
